1.The Blue Bridge
Directly near Saint Isaac's Cathedral there is a bridge, as wide as the adjacent Isaakievskaya Square, that is rather tricky to see. Let's walk around the widest bridge in Saint Petersburg.

2.Saint Isaac's Cathedral
This cathedral is an architectural marvel. Built by the French-born architect Auguste Montferrand to be the main church of the Russian Empire, the cathedral was under construction for 40 years, and was decorated in the most elaborate way possible. It's the largest cathedral in Russia.

3.Bronze Horseman
Let's see the statue of the founder of the city, Peter the Great, that is now one of the symbols of the city.

4.Admiralty
That is one of the oldest architectural monuments of the city. In the former times it used to be a fortified shipyard! Now it's a Navy School and a Navy museum. The long gilded spire of the Admiralty with a ship on top is another symbol of our city.

5.Palace bridge, Palace square and Winter Palace
You have seen these symbols of the city many times in the cards, on TV and Internet. I'm sure you are in anticipation to see them. Let's enjoy the fantastic view.

6.Nevsky Prospect
It was the first street laid out in St. Petersburg. Nevsky prospect has always been the most popular street with both the visitors and the citizens of Saint Petersburg. It is the center of the modern life of St. Petersburg. Here you'll find the most fashionable and popular restaurants, cafes, night clubs, shops, boutiques, offices of various companies, theatres, cinemas, and much, much more.

7.Kazan Cathedral
This is one of the largest cathedrals of St. Petersburg and one of the most famous sights of the city. It is impossible to miss this cathedral while being on the Nevsky Prospect.
