Chateau's Castle Hill and waterfalls
By the 11th century, the hill sported a Medieval Chateau, a grand Cathedral, and a bustling hilltop village, all encircled by a massive walled fortress. It was the most formidable fortress on the Mediterranean Coast and was thought to be impenetrable. As it was a prize to be conquered, it was attacked many times… but where it is it now?

Old Nice and the port
The Old Port of Nice is actually called Port Lympia. Once there was a valley here with the same name. The construction of the port was decided in 1748 by the King of Sardinia, Charles Emmanuel III. It is worth visiting this place by descending from Castle Hill in Nice.

English Promenade
The Promenade des Anglais in Nice is one of France's best known and iconic seafronts. The Promenade stretches for seven kilometres, from the airport in the west of the city, to the castle headland in the east. It takes its name from the English people who paid for it to be built.

House of Henri Matisse
Opened in 1963, the Matisse Museum contains one of the world's largest collections of works by Henri Matisse, a French artist of world renown. It is located in the 17th century Villa des Arènes, formerly known as the Palais de Gubernatis (after the first owner).
5
Laskari Palace
The Palais Lascaris is a seventeenth-century aristocratic building in Nice. Currently, it is a musical instrument museum. Located in the old town of Nice, it houses a collection of over 500 instruments, which makes it France's second most important collection.

Professional guide
I am a guide on the French Riviera. Every day I help organize tourists' holidays that meet their needs, interests, and budget.
For many years I studied French and traveled to France, discovering its most fascinating corners. It's time to choose a city for life, and my choice fell on the most beautiful and historically most vibrant town in France - Nice.
I like active and informative traveling, and I hope that you too;)
